Rushbox 2 18+6-button layout

Up to 18+6 buttons, arranged your way.

Rushbox 2 ergonomic button layout

A layout that keeps every input within reach.

The layout is designed around a natural hand position, keeping key inputs within easy reach without forcing you to stretch your fingers. That makes it easier to stay comfortable through long practice sessions and matches.

Rushbox 2 profile settings

Save profiles for different games and characters.

Customize button mappings and SOCD settings from your browser, then save multiple profiles so you can switch setups for different games or characters.

Rushbox 2 Tournament Lock switch

A physical Tournament Lock helps prevent accidental menu or system inputs during matches, so you can focus on the controls you actually need.

Rushbox 2 slim aluminum body

A 13 mm aluminum body with a planted feel.

The A4-size playing surface is built around a slim 13 mm aluminum body. At around 1.1 kg, with a wide anti-slip surface underneath, it stays planted whether you play on a desk or on your lap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about compatibility, customization, setup, and international shipping.

What is the difference between a leverless controller and an arcade stick?

A traditional arcade stick uses a joystick for directional inputs, while a leverless controller uses buttons for every direction. Once you get used to it, the button-based layout can make fast direction changes and precise command inputs easier to perform.

How is Rushbox 2 different from other leverless controllers?

One of Rushbox 2's biggest strengths is its flexibility. Choose from up to 18+6 button positions, including inputs around your thumbs, palms, and pinkies, to build a layout around the way you play.

It also features an approximately 1.1 kg aluminum body, hot-swappable switches, and customizable top-panel artwork, letting you fine-tune the layout, button feel, and appearance.

Is Rushbox 2 suitable for beginners?

Yes. If you are new to leverless controllers, directional inputs may take some time to get used to, but unused button positions can be covered with blanking caps so you can start with a simpler layout.

As you get more comfortable, you can add inputs around your thumbs, palms, and pinkies and gradually build a layout that fits your playstyle.

Can I use Rushbox 2 with Street Fighter 6 or Tekken 8?

Yes. Rushbox 2 can be used with major fighting games including Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, and 2XKO.

You can also save different button mappings and SOCD settings as profiles and switch between them for different games or characters.

How does Rushbox 2 compare with Rushbox Lite 2 and other models?

Rushbox 2: An approximately 1.1 kg aluminum model with an 18+6-button layout, hot-swappable switches, and customizable top-panel artwork. It is designed for players who want extensive control over both feel and appearance.

Rushbox Lite 2: Keeps the flexible 18+6-button layout while using a lighter, approximately 750 g ABS resin body. Top-panel artwork customization is not supported.

Rushbox Click: Uses short-travel micro switches with 0.3 mm actuation and a 22+2-button layout.

Rushbox Mini: Features a 16+5-button layout, quiet mechanical switches, and an approximately 650 g layered acrylic body.

Can I use Rushbox 2 on PC or PS5?

PC (Windows / macOS): Connect Rushbox 2 via USB. No dedicated driver installation is required.

PS5 / PS4: A compatible converter sold separately is required. A bundle with our PS5 converter is also available.

Can I use Rushbox 2 with Nintendo Switch / Switch 2?

Yes. Rushbox 2 can be connected directly via USB to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. No additional converter is required.

Can I remap buttons, disable inputs, and change SOCD settings?

Yes. The browser-based GP2040-CE configuration interface lets you remap buttons, change SOCD settings, and save multiple profiles without installing dedicated software.

Button positions you do not use can also be physically removed and covered with blanking caps.

Make sure your SOCD settings comply with the rules of the game or tournament you are participating in.

Can I replace the switches?

Yes. Rushbox 2 supports Kailh Choc V2-compatible low-profile switches and is hot-swappable. You can change to switches with different operating forces, travel distances, or sound characteristics to fine-tune the button feel.

Can I customize the top-panel artwork?

Yes. Rushbox 2 uses a matte-clear acrylic top panel, allowing you to place your own artwork underneath it. You can customize the appearance along with the button layout and switch feel.

Do you ship outside Japan?

Yes. Rushbox 2 can be shipped from Japan to countries and regions currently supported by EMS. Available destinations may vary depending on current EMS service availability.
